Trip home and many many more trees!
Just got back from a little weekend trip to the island. It was filled with rich yummy foods and my wonderful mother! Also my boyfriend was hard to get rid of after he tasted some of the food ;) The following pic is of Ian and I just before I had to leave for Eugene.

American Elm (Ulmus americana) This is a rare tree because most of the older trees were wiped out or destroyed because of Elm disease
Korean Stewartia (Stewartia koreanea)
This ones really cool because everything is velvety and soft!
Staghorn Sumac (Rhus typhina)
Red Oak (Quercus rubra)
Pin Oak (Quercus palustris)
This one is on the corner near my apartment!
Thornless Honeylocust (Gleditsia trichanthos 'Inermis')
Personal favorite here!
Burning Bush aka. Winged Euonymus (Euonymus alatus)

Flowering Dogwood (Cornus florida)
Childhood favorite of mine! Silk-tree (Albizia julibrissin)
Coolest one of the day this is a MAPLE! click if u want to see closer.
Paperbark Maple (Acer griseum)

(this is a great way to study) Although there seems to be a rain curse on the class hence the rainy day photo's...
